Bethenny Frankel and Andy Cohen no longer follow each other on Instagram as it’s revealed that The Real Housewives of New York City alum only follows one of her former co-stars and Andy doesn’t follow any of the Housewives.
Some eagle-eyed fans recently noticed that Bethenny isn’t following her former boss and began to wonder if the pair had a falling out.
If fans recall, Andy was reportedly angry with the Skinnygirl mogul last year when she took a shot at RHONY‘s lower ratings and implied it was because she left the show.
“She was a no-one before RHONY,” a source told Page Six at the time. “Why would someone be so desperate as to bash the franchise that built her brand? Andy is livid!”
As it turns out, all is well with their relationship according to one of Bethenny’s representatives.
“They haven’t followed each other in forever,” Bethenny’s rep explained. “They are super close friends. In fact he recently did her podcast. She doesn’t follow a lot of her friends. She prefers to connect with them directly and not see what they’re up to over social media.”
Andy also let fans know there was no “drama” between the two when he posted a photo with the mother-of-one not long after she made the comment.
Although they do not keep up with each other on Instagram, a source said the pals do actually follow one another on Twitter and “interact there all the time.” The source went on to add that Andy doesn’t follow any of the Housewives on Instagram. In fact, out of the 410 people the host is following, only three are Bravolebrities. He is currently following Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval and Southern Charm party boys, Shep Rose and Craig Conover.
As for Bethenny, the one and only Housewife she follows – from any franchise – is Dorinda Medley. Dorinda was fired from RHONY following a dramatic season 12 and since then the two have become “quite close,” even posing together on a boat in September 2020.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 13 is still in production, but is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
