Apparently, all of that free seasonal promotion Katie Holmes was doing on social media for her pasta empire boyfriend Emilio Vitolo Jr.‘s restaurant is finally paying off, drawing in A-list clientele like Rihanna for dinner, Governor Andrew Cuomo be damned.
The pop star was photographed heading out to grab some food on Tuesday night at Emilio’s Ballato, the restaurant where Vitolo and his brother work as head chefs. She bundled up against the cold weather for the outing, wearing a R13 baseball cap, a partially unbuttoned pastel green leather top that left her black bra exposed under a matching vintage Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 1997 Fyr coat and an ankle-length brown mink, paired with broken-in blue jeans and white $690 The Attico slingback pumps.
The chilly NYC temperatures must have come as a particular shock to Rihanna after spending the holidays in Barbados with her family and reported new boyfriend, rapper ASAP Rocky. Though she may have been eating dinner alone ahead of the inauguration, the pair have reportedly “been inseparable the past few weeks. It’s a new relationship, but they both seem very into it,” a source previously told People, adding, “They have a lot in common. They’ve always seemed to have a great time together.”
Of course, Rihanna was a fan of Emilio’s Ballato long before Holmes and Vitolo became romantically involved. Her photo can be found plastered on the walls of the Italian eatery alongside those of other high-profile customers like Justin Bieber, Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, Billy Joel, Whoopi Goldberg, and Barack Obama.
