Queen Elizabeth Appears at Windsor Castle Meeting After Hospitalization


Queen Elizabeth is back in action.

The 95-year-old monarch welcomed the Governor of the Bank of England Andrew Bailey in the Oak Room at Windsor Castle on Wednesday (November 24) in London, United Kingdom.

She was seen wearing a green patterned dress, black shoes and a two-strand pearl necklace, shaking hands and speaking with the Governor during the visit. In the photos, she is surrounded by photographs for the royal family.

In addition to her first in-person engagement, an audience with General Sir Nick Carter at Windsor Castle, she was able to attend the joint christening for two of her great-grandsons over the weekend as well.

The news of the Queen on the mend follows her hospitalization in October, forcing her to cancel a trip. She also missed Remembrance Day after spraining her back this month.

In addition to using a walking cane, the Queen has also reportedly been advised to give up horse riding and martinis, via People.
