Lil Baby Trolled Endlessly For His Performance In A Celebrity Basketball Match

While there are certainly a lot of entertainers who are talented at more than one thing, it’s not that common for a musical artist to transfer over to professional sports very well, although, an athlete might be able to transfer over to music or acting.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, Lil Baby, 2 Chainz, Quavo, and Jack Harlow participated in a basketball match the other night, and the three rappers from Atlanta played for half-a-million dollars. The outlet says that each rapper had their own way of playing the game.

For instance, 2 Chainz appeared to spend a large amount of time arguing with the referees whereas Quavo stated that the game would easily cement his status as the best “hip-hop basketball player” on earth.

Obviously, the same thing can’t be said for Lil Baby, who has been the subject of many memes ever since. Hot New Hip Hop says that while Lil Baby has been credited as one of the best rappers in the game right now, he didn’t perform as well as a basketball player.

In fact, a lot of people on social media have been clowning him and his performance ever since with memes and jokes. The outlet says people went so far as to create a series of memes of Lil Baby’s worst moments on the court.

Many people on Twitter compared Lil Baby’s performance to when Drake missed the net completely during the warmup match for the Kentucky Wildcats many years ago now. Thankfully, Lil Baby didn’t take the loss particularly hard.

He took to his IG later to say that he took a “hard L” alongside a series of crying emojis. In other words, it looks like Lil Baby understands what he’s the best at, and he doesn’t take the loss too personally – not everyone is cut out to be an athlete.

This conversation has been had before but in a slightly different way. For instance, Larry Sanders once insinuated that J. Cole was actually good enough of a basketball player to play in the NBA if he really wanted to.
