In an interview with Us Weekly, Crystal Hefner said she would like to see a reconciliation between the fellow The Girls Next Door stars after they had a falling out in late 2000 following their respective splits from the Playboy mogul.
“Let’s talk about it, let’s stop hating each other and, like, all sit down and just hash it out,” Crystal, 34, told the magazine. “That would be interesting.”
Along with model Bridget Marquardt, 47, Madison, 41, and Wilkinson, 35, were Hefner’s live-in girlfriends for the most part of 2000 — and between 2005 and 2010, they were also the focus of reality TV show The Girls Next Door, which documented their lives inside the Playboy Mansion.
The women starred in six seasons of the program before leaving Hefner and the Mansion. He then went on to date and eventually marry Harris in 2012.
“I have a feeling we will have so much in common and we would all be friends, but because we all hate each other for apparently no reason…” Harris added.
“I mean, how many people on the planet share this common experience? Not many. So, my hope is for us all to have a red table talk and just see how it goes.”
Last week, Hefner’s widow showed her support for Wilkinson after Madison said she didn’t believe Wilkinson’s claims she moved into the Mansion without having to sleep with Hefner.
“I had to sleep with him first,” Madison recalled on the Call Her Daddy podcast on April 7. “I’m not trying to slut-shame anybody or anything, but nobody ever got asked to move in unless they had slept with him.”
“I know Holly went through some very hard things at the mansion. I think some of the things I went through are harder,” she told Us Weekly.
“I can understand the contention between Holly and Kendra, especially because Kendra was kind of more checked out. And so, she had to deal with less, like, psychologically at the mansion. And I think that might be a source of bitterness with Holly.”
In the same interview, Madison said her seven-year relationship with Hefner was like a “Stockholm syndrome kind of thing”. She also said they had “boring basic sex” and the Playboy Mansion was like a “cutthroat cult”.
Madison’s latest bombshell — in 2015, she also wrote an equally eye-opening memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole — came as a surprise to Wilkinson, especially since both women had moved on from their Playboy days.
“Dude… it’s 2021 😂,” Wilkinson hit back as she commented on an Instagram post referencing Madison’s latest comments. “Times have changed. I forgive and have kids to love and focus on.”
After leaving the Mansion, Wilkinson went on to star in her self-titled reality show, Kendra, and married former NFL star Hank Baskett. They split after nine years of marriage, finalising their divorce in 2018. The couple shares two children: Hank, 11, and Alijah, six.
Madison also secured her own reality show, Holly’s World, before marrying businessman Pasquale Rotella in 2013. They welcomed two children — daughter Rainbow, eight, and son Forest, four — before splitting in 2019.
