Cardi B has deactivated her Twitter account after getting attacked by her fans.
The ‘Up’ rapper received backlash from her followers after announcing she was releasing a custom doll –– when they want a new album.
Cardi took to Instagram Live to rant about the response to her latest business endeavour.
“I have so much pressure. I’m working on a lot of s–t to please people…I wanna please my fans, because y’all been asking for something from me for a very long time,” she said.
“How am I supposed to be rich? How am I supposed to build my net worth?”
Cardi told Today that she designed the doll because she wanted her two-year-old to have a doll that looks like her mum.
“Somebody came with this idea to me and I’m like, ‘That is great because I would love my daughter to play with a doll that looks like me’,” she said.
“Then I also want to do fun things on Instagram and I want women that have different careers than me to tell me a little bit about their life and everything, and I want to pick them and I don’t know, maybe I have a doll and she’s a doctor, she’s a nurse, you know what I’m saying?,” she said.
“Just different types of women and I want to display them and I want them to look beautiful just like me.”
Earlier this year, Cardi faced backlash after she didn’t let her daughter listen to her song ‘WAP’.
“I don’t make music for kids I make music for adults,” she tweeted at the time. “Parents are responsible on what their children listen too or see. I’m a very sexual person but not around my child just like every other parent should be.”
